Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are showing interest in Werder Bremen’s Justin Njinmah thanks to his impressive performances this season.
That’s according to Kicker, who say both clubs are in the mix for the 23-year-old, who is Werder’s second top goalscorer this season.
He’s managed six goals and two assists in 24 games in the Bundesliga this campaign, a tally made more impressive by the fact that he’s only played in 36% of the available minutes thanks to injuries.

Everton have been linked with a transfer move for Merlin Rohl as a potential replacement for Amadou Onana
So what might Rohl, who turns 22 on July 5 and has been capped seven times by Germany Under-21s, scoring twice, potentially offer Sean Dyche’s side? Born just outside the German capital city of Berlin in Potsdam, the city where the ‘Big Three’ of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, US President Harry Truman and Soviet General Secretary Joseph Stalin held their 1945 conference to plan the post-Second World War peace, Rohl’s youth career started nearby at SV Babelsberg 03.
In 2018, he moved south to Bavaria to join FC Ingolstadt 04, making his senior debut on November 25, 2020 in a third division clash against Bayern Munich’s reserves. After 55 appearances and four goals, Rohl was then transferred to Bundesliga outfit Freiburg on August 17, 2022, and has played 34 games – including 24 in the German top flight this season – to date, netting three times.
