Nathan Patterson Patterson will not play again this season, and looks set to miss out on Scotland’s campaign at Euro 2024 too. Speaking about the full-back last month, Sean Dyche said: 'Out for the season: he will need surgery on that, very unfortunate. We're disappointed in that one for him.'
Dele Alli Dele continues to battle for match fitness, and is not expected to feature for Everton between now and the end of the season. As far back as February, Dyche said: 'Dele's focus is just getting fit. Obviously, he's got a period [to go]. We're not worrying about when, just, first things first, get fit. That's all we're looking for him to do, and that's all he's looking to do.'
Vitalii Mykolenko A casualty of the recent Merseyside derby victory over Liverpool, Mykolenko suffered an ankle ligament injury. Since then, it is understood that he has been assessed by a specialist, and will not require surgery. That being said, it is likely that he has played his final minutes for the Toffees this season.
Beto The striker sustained a nasty head injury during Everton’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest recently, but should be back in contention by the time that he has completed the necessary concussion protocols. Providing an update on his player, Dyche said: 'He definitely won't feature these next couple of games, but he'll be back after the protocols, and quite rightly so. Good news so far: he's had all the needed checks, and he's fine.' The clash against Sheffield United next weekend could be a realistic return date.
Seamus Coleman Coleman only just missed out on the win over Brentford at the weekend, and based on that logic, could be in contention to feature against Luton. A late fitness test is likely.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin Calvert-Lewin is another who could come back into the side against Luton. Addressing the striker’s recent absence, Dyche said: 'Dom had been ill previous to the last game - he'd done brilliantly to get through it and just couldn't recover in time. Unfortunately, he doesn't make this one.'
Lewis Dobbin And finally, Dobbin is said to be making ‘good progress’ and could also be in contention against Luton.
